No. You open the app and start. No email, no password.

Yes, completely, and the offline catalog is free and unlimited, forever. Your collections are saved on your phone. Internet will only be needed for the online features, planned from V2.

iPhone, iPad and Android phones. The theme follows your device, or you pick light or dark in the settings. The app speaks English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Hindi and Russian.

A collection with a goal, for example the 50 commemorative €2 coins of a given year. Muzelium shows your progress (34/50) and what you still have to find.

You rate each piece from ½ to 5 hearts, in half-heart steps. It's how attached you are to the piece, not its market value. Tap the selected rating again to clear it.

No. You enter the estimated value yourself, based on a price guide, a catalog or a recent sale. Muzelium then calculates the totals and the gain. Every value change is recorded in the piece's journal and kept: it will also feed the Pro value chart, planned for V1.3.

The piece's story, written by the app: every change (price, value, rating, condition, photos, tags, status) is recorded with its date and time, the old value and the new one. You can comment on each line and add your own entries: a restoration, an appraisal, an exhibition. The journal is free and part of your backup.

Yes, for free: one button creates an image of a piece or a collection with its museum label, as a story, post or square, ready for Instagram or TikTok. Your prices only appear if you choose so. From V2, with Pro, a share link will be added that anyone can open for free, without installing the app: you'll choose what is visible, collection by collection and piece by piece. By default, nothing is public.

On your phone only, in the app's private storage. Photos are resized to 1,600 px so they don't fill up your storage. We have no access to them.

No. From the app settings, create a backup: a ZIP file that contains everything, photos and journal included. Import it on your new phone. The import merges the data without creating duplicates.

Yes. The CSV export opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets, in the format Excel expects in your language (in English: commas between columns and a point for decimals), with the currency of each price.

Each price is saved with your phone's currency at the moment you enter it, and it keeps it: if you move or import your backup on a phone set to another currency, your prices don't change meaning. Offline, Muzelium doesn't convert: totals count the prices in your phone's currency and tell you when other currencies are left out.

Nobody but you: everything is on your phone. And on screen, prices are hidden by default; an eye button shows them. You can show your collection to someone without showing your budget.

No ads, no trackers, no usage statistics. At launch, there are no payments at all. From V1.3, only the Pro subscription will go through Apple or Google and through RevenueCat, the service that checks your subscription, using an anonymous identifier. Everything is detailed in the privacy policy.

Yes. The offline catalog is free and unlimited, forever: collections, items, photos, value totals, a journal for each piece, image sharing, ZIP backup and CSV export, then scanning, wishlist and loans once they are released. Only the value tools (from V1.3) and the online features (from V2) will be paid, in a single Pro subscription.

No. At launch, the app offers no purchases and no subscription. Payments start with V1.3.

From V1.3: statistics, value chart, PDF for your insurance, QR labels and burst scanning. From V2, the online features: cloud backup, publishing your collections, sync. The price will be announced with the release of V1.3.

No. It's the same subscription: when V2 comes out, it automatically includes cloud backup, publishing and sync, with no change of plan.

You always keep your data and all the free features: your collections stay on your phone, with no limit, and you can still edit and export them. Only the Pro tools and the online features stop.

No. Publishing a collection will be part of Pro from V2, but everyone will be able to view public collections for free, even without installing the app.

No. Muzelium is built for it from day one: every piece, photo and journal entry is ready to be synced, and every price keeps its currency. The day you turn on the online features (from V2, with Pro), your catalog moves over as it is. Without a subscription, nothing leaves your phone.

Later: public profiles, likes, following other collectors, then comments and discussions. Viewing will stay free; publishing will be part of Pro.

A web version will arrive with the online account, so you can manage your collections from a big screen.
