Terms of use

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the Muzelium mobile app, published by M. Outougane, and, from version 1.3 of the app, subscription to Muzelium Pro.

2. Access to the app

Muzelium will be available to download for free from the App Store and Google Play as soon as it is released. The offline catalog (collections, items, photos, collection value totals, piece journals, image sharing, ZIP backup and CSV export, plus scanning, wishlist and loan tracking once they are released) is free, with no limit on quantity and no time limit. No account is required.

Collections made public by their authors, once this feature exists, can be viewed for free by everyone, with or without the app.

3. Pro subscription

• No payments at launch. On release, the app offers no purchases and no subscription. Payments start with version 1.3 of the app.
• From version 1.3, a single subscription, Muzelium Pro, gives access to the offline value tools: statistics, value chart, PDF for insurance, QR labels and burst scanning. From version 2, the same subscription includes, with no change of plan and no extra charge, the online features: cloud backup, publishing and synchronization.
• The price and plans will be announced with the release of version 1.3 and shown in the app before any purchase; the price displayed at the time of purchase is the one that applies.
• Payment will be processed by Apple or Google under their own terms. The subscription will renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends, in the Apple or Google account settings.
• If the subscription ends, no data is deleted: users keep their data and all the free features, including viewing, editing and exporting. Only the Pro tools and online features stop being available.
• Refunds: purchases go through Apple or Google, which handle refund requests under their own rules. The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content supplied immediately after purchase when you have expressly agreed to immediate supply and waived that right (article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code).

4. Your data

Your collections are stored on your device and remain your property. You are responsible for backing them up: the app offers a free ZIP backup and CSV export. See the privacy policy.

5. Estimated values

The values and gains displayed are calculated from the amounts you enter. They have no value as an expert appraisal or as financial advice.

6. Liability

Muzelium is built with care but provided without any guarantee that it will run without interruption or error. The publisher cannot be held liable for the loss of data stored on your device (breakdown, loss or theft of the phone, uninstalling the app): make regular ZIP backups, which are free. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer.

7. Changes to the terms

These terms may change, in particular when the online features arrive. Significant changes will be announced in the app.

8. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. For any complaint, please write first to contact@muzelium.com: we will look for an amicable solution. The contact details of a consumer mediator will be given here before payments open (version 1.3).
